The results will confirm what industry insiders already know - that the DC film region goes as far north as Baltimore, as far south as Richmond, as far west as the Shennandoahs, and that the industry is the third largest in the country with wide ranging implications for the region’s "creative economy."

Past Portfolio

Peace X Peace - I began as an intern and left as director of Communications. I did many things at Peace X Peace. But I am most proud of the articles I produced for its monthly online magazine, and the interviews I produced for the online audio program, Voice X Voice. Take a look and a listen!

Starlight MinistriesStar Light Ministries - I sit on the board of this wonderful non-profit which reaches out to exotic dancers in a faith-based but non-judgmental way. I am proud of the work Star Light has done, and has been recognized for on NPR, the New York Times, and the Village Voice. I advise Star Light on media matters. If you’d like to know why I accepted the responsibility of sitting on Star Light’s board, take a look here.

KCRWKCRW - Everything I learned about media was shaped and sharpened at KCRW-FM. I ran the volunteer corps - which is where I learned to herd cats, aka project management. (I managed a couple thousand volunteers over several drives, and several hundred more through the year for special events and in the office from 7 am to 3 am). But what I really learned to do was pitch, edit, produce, and tell a tight story at "Good Food."
